The planting has begun! Thanks to a generous grant from the Codi Trust along with a hefty discount from Greenfingers in Denbigh we have been able to start filling in the raised bed in the shop garden. Graham from Greenfingers provided us with some invaluable advice for plant choices. We have opted mostly for child-friendly fruiting plants which everyone will be welcome to help themselves to. These include blueberries, strawberries and, due to the gardens sheltered south-facing wall we have even tried some seedless grapes!!!
We are looking for some raspberry suckers to plant in one corner if anyone has any to donate once they have become dormant. We are also open to other plant suggestions as you will see there is still space to fill.
