Become a Community Shareholder of Llandyrnog Shop
At the core of Llandyrnog Shop is community membership, where members of the public can purchase a share in the shop in return for a vote in how the shop is run and managed.
Llandyrnog Shop has over 300 shareholders who not only raise significant funds to revive the shop, but also have an active role in how the shop is run now it’s open, including electing the shop’s board of directors.
Crucially, the number of shareholders and their generosity provides hard evidence of how much Llandyrnog Shop is truly valued by people near and far. This significantly increases the likelihood of being able to secure grant funding to further improve and enhance the facilities on offer. In the early days of purchasing and re-establishing Llandyrnog shop over £50,000 was raised by our amazing shareholders, which in-turn helped to secure over £400,000 of grant funding!
