Celebrating the Creativity of Llandyrnog Community Shop, Ysgol Bryn Clwyd at Ruthin Craft Centre
A wonderful final celebration at Ruthin Craft Centre marked the conclusion of OF THIS PLACE, a special series of art events held at Llandyrnog Community Shop and at Ysgol Bryn Clwyd
The final celebration gave children the opportunity to explore the galleries and share their responses to the artworks.
Exploring Art Together
The project brought children and members of the community together to explore creativity, share ideas and experience art in many different forms. During the final visit, the children toured the galleries, looked closely at the exhibitions and discussed the shapes, materials, colours and stories they discovered in the artworks.

It was wonderful to see the children’s curiosity and enthusiasm as they explored the displays, asked questions and shared their own interpretations.
Curiosity, Conversation and Confidence
The visit gave everyone an opportunity to reflect on the creative work completed during the project and to experience the inspiring surroundings of Ruthin Craft Centre. The children responded to the exhibitions with confidence and imagination, making connections between the professional artworks and their own creative experiences.
