You will have gathered from my most recent updates that the last three months have been very challenging for the project owing to the delay on our Community Facility Programme grant decision.
After pushing for a decision with the support of our local MS’s, Monday evening brought a call from Chris Buchan, who we have been liaising with in the Welsh Government, to confirm that the funds of £200,000 have been granted to The Llandyrnog Community Shop Ltd. A huge sense of relief which many of you I am sure will share.
The project can now start to move forward again and we will be working hard to try and catch up on some of the 12 weeks we have lost.
We will, of course, keep you posted but we can now clearly see the light at the end of the tunnel.
